Equine activities involve inherent risk. Horse handling, farrier work, training, transportation, and all related services carry the possibility of injury, property damage, or death, even under the safest conditions.
You voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation in or exposure to equine activities provided by Klein Equine.
Klein Equine, its owners, employees, and contractors are not liable for any injury, loss, damage, or death resulting from equine behavior, environmental conditions, handling incidents, or unforeseen circumstances.
You are responsible for ensuring that horses, facilities, and environments are reasonably safe and accessible for the services being performed.
You agree to release and hold harmless Klein Equine from any and all claims arising from services provided.
SERVICE AGREEMENT AND POLICIES
Klein Equine Service Agreement
By scheduling services with Klein Equine, you agree to the following terms.
Appointments and Scheduling
All services must be scheduled in advance. Arrival times may vary based on travel and prior appointments.
Cancellations
We request at least 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling when possible. Repeated last minute cancellations may result in refusal of future service.
Payments
Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise agreed in writing. Deposits for training or specialty services may be required and are non refundable.
Safety and Refusal of Service
Klein Equine reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service if a horse is unsafe to handle, excessively dangerous, or if conditions are unsafe for work.
Travel
Service areas include Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin. Travel fees may apply depending on distance.
HORSE SALES TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Klein Equine Horse Sales Policy
All horses offered for sale through Klein Equine are subject to the following terms.
Horses are sold on an as is basis. No guarantees or warranties are made regarding future soundness, behavior, training level, athletic ability, or suitability for any specific purpose.
Buyers are encouraged to conduct a pre purchase veterinary examination at their own expense prior to final sale.
Once a deposit or full payment is made, the sale is considered final unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Transport and shipping arrangements are the responsibility of the buyer unless explicitly included in the sale agreement.
Klein Equine is not responsible for injuries, accidents, or losses that occur after a horse leaves our care.
REFUND AND PAYMENT POLICY
Klein Equine Refund Policy
All payments made to Klein Equine are considered final unless otherwise stated in writing.
Deposits for services, training, or horse sales are non refundable unless Klein Equine is unable to fulfill the agreed service.
Completed services are non refundable.
Accepted forms of payment may include cash, check, or electronic payment methods as agreed upon prior to service.
